Yes, 2020 has been a year of unknowns and uncertainties, but to get under the skin of a year that defies description, we asked some of our Ambassadors to share a single image that represents how 2020 both looked and felt. The result is a unique year in pictures that reflects the emotional rollercoaster ride that’s been felt throughout the world.

“When words fail us, there is no better way to express our emotions than through the power of imagery,” says Susie Donaldson, ITCG European Marketing Director for Canon EMEA. “Canon’s fantastic group of Ambassadors have perfectly captured the highs and lows we’ve collectively experienced during 2020 through this selection of powerful images.”

Heart-wrenching, uplifting, poignant and powerful, these 19 unique images are described in the Ambassadors own words and sum up how 2020 felt to them.
